The Pheasant Farm is a game bird hunting preserve where beautiful hard flying pheasants roam between 2 distinct habitats.  Located in the scenic fruit growing area of Northwest Kent County known as "The Ridge" the farm is just 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The farm is 314 acres and has 2 hunting fields roughly the same size, but quite different landscapes considering only Fruit Ridge Avenue separates them.  If you're looking for a true wild pheasant hunting experience The Pheasant Farm is your destination...

Hunting "The Creek" named so because Indian Mill Creek flows through the farm, has varying terrain with rolling hills, wetlands, marshes and woods.  The hunting area is mostly a large variety of native grasses and planted alfalfa along with several swales and even a small orchard.  This is an excellent field for more experienced hunters and dogs in a truly unique setting.  For pictures of "The Creek" please click here.

Hunting "The Ridge" named so because this field was at 1 time all orchard and fruit is grown on a ridge.  You'll be hunting high ground with a very large area of native grasses and alfalfa with a few remaining apple trees and a pond for your dog to cool off or take a drink.  Hunting early season can be difficult because of the heavy cover, so some hunters wait until late fall before adventuring into this field though it's excellent for larger groups.  For pictures of "The Ridge" please click here.

We offer half day field hunts click here as well as European hunts for more info click here
